Erika + Kira  ·  The story of finding your sparkle

"The story of a woman finding her light — and choosing to document the scent of the path that led there."

The Brand Mission

Ekira is not just a blog. It is a world being built one curated post at a time — a sensory universe that exists before the perfume bottle ever arrives.

The Name

Where Erika Becomes Ekira

The name carries the whole story. Erika — the name given at birth. Kira — the Japanese word for sparkle, for glimmer, for the light that flickers just before you find your way. Together, they became something new: Ekira.

This is not a rebrand. It is an emergence. The decision to take two things that were always true — the person born and the quality being chased — and let them fuse into a single, intentional word.

"Erika was the name I was given. Ekira is the one I earned. The distance between them is everything this blog is about."

The Aesthetic

Dark Aura Lab

A collision of French-polished luxury and Japanese minimalism. Japandi with an edge. Nothing here is loud — everything is felt. The visual world of Ekira is built from shadow and restraint, from the space between objects, from what is deliberately left unsaid.

The palette is its own language.

The Typography

Two Voices, One World

The serif carries the emotion — slow, considered, with the weight of something that has been thought about for a long time. The sans-serif holds the structure — clean and precise, never competing for attention.

The Voice

How Ekira Speaks

Crisp. Rhythmic. Evocative. The precision of a French maison with the restraint of a Japanese tea ceremony. Never generic. Never loud. The reader should feel like they have discovered something rare — a sentence written specifically for them, in a language they did not know they already spoke.

The fragrance world lives beneath every post. Even when the subject is a meal, a city, a shelf of objects — the sensory intelligence of a perfumer is always present, noting texture, atmosphere, the moment something shifts from beautiful to unforgettable.

The story has already begun.
